Dr. Joshua Harper
Joshua Harper is living on the west side of Niarobi, Kenya, teaching Old Testament and Hebrew at AIU, a university and seminary. The need for properly trained pastors and Christian leaders in Africa continues far to outstrip the available training capacity, and so institutions like AIU/NEGST that train African students to become Bible school lecturers are key. It is far more efficient to send a few western lecturers to Africa to teach at no extra cost to the African universities than it is to send dozens of African grad school students to the US or the UK. Anglican Relief and Development Fund (ARDF)
ARDF is the official relief and development arm of the Anglican Church of North America, our province. Their mission: "Inspired by God's radical grace, we exist to empower Anglicans in the developing world to show the love of Christ to those in need in their own communities." ARDF does that by funding projects that are researched and evaluated, locally initiated and implemented, and work within existing church structures. The organization is guided by a global board of archbishops, non-western leaders who represent the developing world and its needs. For more information, visit ARDF's website.
